The newly elected Biden-Harris administration plans to focus on energy-efficient homes to achieve a 100 percent clean energy economy with net-zero emissions by 2050. Joe Biden is well aware that smarter energy use is cheap, fast, and a strong defense against the climate crisis. Through this plan, the administration can substantially improve the American lifestyle and make it easier to handle the pandemic, high energy bills, and poor housing conditions.  The President of the United States plans on improving homes in several ways, such as zoning changes to rehabilitating housing in distressed neighborhoods. The new administration plans on boosting the energy efficiency of homes and hopes to reduce energy costs building off of the weatherization assistance efforts of the Department of Energy. Local Couple Working To Build Sustainable, Affordable Homes

According to Redfin, in May of this year, Atlanta home prices were up 24.6% compared to last year, selling for a median price of $405,000. On average, homes in Atlanta sell after 19 days on the market, compared to 41 days last year. There were 1,792 homes sold in May this year, up from 1,030 last year. Evo Haven to launch new development projects in San Francisco

Evo Haven’s CEO, Majesty Gayle, has stated he is looking at San Francisco as another "potential site for development." San Francisco residents can look forward to having affordable, sustainable container home for living available to them soon.  Gayle believes San Francisco is an exciting market as the houses there are very close together, comparing them with townhouses. He mentioned that the houses in this city are priced at around $1.38 million, which were priced at $420,000 not too long ago. With the exponential increase in the prices, Gayle wants to construct sustainable houses that are more affordable and easy on the pockets for those who wish to own houses in San Francisco.  The land Evo Home has selected to build the container houses is excellent and can house mix-use property on it. “It is a very good piece of land,” says Gayle. “There is a vet center nearby and some retail as well.
