The newly elected Biden-Harris administration plans to focus on energy-efficient homes to achieve a 100 percent clean energy economy with net-zero emissions by 2050. Joe Biden is well aware that smarter energy use is cheap, fast, and a strong defense against the climate crisis. Through this plan, the administration can substantially improve the American lifestyle and make it easier to handle the pandemic, high energy bills, and poor housing conditions.  The President of the United States plans on improving homes in several ways, such as zoning changes to rehabilitating housing in distressed neighborhoods.
