Push Nation: Gives 5,000 LBS of Food to The Community

 Recently, Push Nation gave 5,000 pounds of food to the black community. The foods that were donated included meat, vegetables, canned goods, and dry foods.

Push Nation strongly believes in its motto, “We have Power.” Its members strive to provide essential resources, including food and education, and establish equal opportunities for underserved communities. 

1. Food Banks Provide Emergency Food and Support to Needy People

Families in need of assistance can fill out a request form available at Push Nation's 501 c3 site and request food donations. Push Nation works with frontline professionals, who help the organization identify people from communities in need of food and issue them the necessary assistance. The frontline agencies include residence associations, advice charities, and other organizations to assess needy people.

2. Helps Minimize Food loss and Waste

 Amongst the most significant challenges the world faces today is to ensure food is not wasted but distributed to those in need. In an era where the cost of food is rising and hunger devastating thousands of families, it is unacceptable that food is lost or wasted. Unfortunately, many people end up throwing excess food, while food manufacturers dispose of tons of food every year.

We have seen that the food banks established by Push Nation will have a positive impact when it comes to minimizing food waste. Ideally, the food banks play a phenomenal role when it comes to recovery, redirecting of nutritious, and edible surplus food that would otherwise go into waste. Most importantly, the food banks will help to feed thousands of families affected by the global pandemic
